2020 Run Results

Join us for the 7th Annual & 1st ever Virtual Kevin Ebbert Memorial Run.

Complete the distance of your choice (2-mile or 10k) whenever you like between September 12-20, 2020. Run or walk in your neighborhood, in the Arcata Community Forest, on a treadmill, or wherever you’re most comfortable.

How to participate:

  • Register online
  • Complete your selected distance between September 12-20, 2020
  • This is not an officially timed race and is based on the honor system. You have the option to track your run using any running app like Strava, MapMyRun, Nike Run Club, etc.
  • If you choose to track your time, send your results to so we can upload them to the website
  • Share your accomplishments and pictures with us on Facebook and Instagram and use the hashtag #KEMTR2020

All proceeds will be donated to the PacOut Green Team in Kevin’s name. PacOut Green Team is a group of avid outdoors people that are passionate about keeping our outdoor spaces clean & free of litter. Click here to learn more.

Dog Tags:
Dog tags will be mailed to the first 100 participants to sign up.

Prizes will be awarded to the first place male & female runners for both the 2-mile & the 10k.

  • First Place: 50-Minute Personal Training Session (in-person or virtual)
  • Second Place: 25-Minute Personal Training Session (in-person or virtual)
  • Third Place: 15-Minute Chair Massage OR 15-Minute virtual on-point session

The Kevin Ebbert Memorial Trail Run is about family, community, and fitness. Kevin Ebbert was a member of the HealthSPORT family who grew up in Humboldt County. His community stretched across the country and around the world serving as a Navy SEAL until he was killed in action on November 24, 2012.
