This is a specialized 6-week fitness series designed to help you navigate the hormonal changes of perimenopause and menopause. Our emphasis is heavily on strength training, as building muscle is one of the best ways to manage metabolism, maintain bone density, and optimize your overall health during this transition. This program is suitable for all fitness levels. 

As estrogen levels decline, women become more susceptible to bone density loss (osteoporosis) and changes in body composition, often resulting in decreased muscle mass and a slowing metabolism. Strength training is vital for protecting your bones, building lean muscle, and keeping your metabolism active. Move Through Menopause is designed to help you accomplish these goals!

No, this class is open to everyone! A HealthSPORT membership is not required to take this class. Invite your friends & family!

It’s designed for all stages of menopause! This class is open to all women whether you’re in perimenopause, menopause, post-menopause, or just starting to notice changes.

This is a small group class. Each location is limited to only 8 participants each. 

You can expect each class to primarily consist of exercise. Our primary goal is for every participant to feel confident in continuing on their own after the series ends. You’ll gain the knowledge and foundation to manage your health long-term.

In addition to the focused fitness work, valuable nutrition and lifestyle tips will be given in classes along the way to help you address symptoms like brain fog, sleep disruption, and weight changes. During the discussions you are welcome to take notes, if desired.
 

The schedule is designed to ensure all participants complete a full six weeks, including adjustments around Thanksgiving week. Each class follows the same pattern: 6-weeks of class, 2 classes per week. The Thursday class of Thanksgiving will be made up.

Yes, we can provide a copy of the workout templates to implement on your own after the program is completed. In this program, you’ll gain the knowledge and foundation to manage your health long-term. Of course, if you want to keep training with us, you can continue with our all-class pass option!
