5 Ways a Pool Sesh Makes for a Great Workout

The good news is swimming is a total body and low impact workout that helps you maximize joint mobility, joint strength, and joint health overall. No jarring or high impact movements necessary!

Want to lose body fat at a rate of 400 calories per hour? If you’re 160 lb person swimming laps at a moderate pace, you’re good to go! And if you swim at a more vigorous pace you can expect to burn around 700 calories per hour or more. These extra calories really add up over time to serious fat loss, which makes swimming an excellent tool for losing weight—and keeping it off.
