When our trainers first meet with you, they’ll assess your goals based on a discussion about your fitness concerns and challenges, your health history and what sounds like fun to you. All of our Personal Trainers are certified by a nationally recognized organization and must also meet the criteria established by Susan Jansson, the founder and CEO of HealthSPORT. Susan has worked in fitness for over 20 years, and is always learning new things from her clients and trainers. She has a degree in Microbiology and a California Teaching Credential. Susan’s certifications include ACE trainer, ACE GroupX leader, and her latest certification is in Gyrotonic, a flowing movement that strengthens joints and tendons and ensures long, fluid, healthy muscles. Gyrotonic also helps with recovery from injury. Whether you want to lose fat, build muscle or increase endurance, our professional staff will provide practical feedback and support through assessments, progress tracking and maintenance. It’s our goal to help you become a confident and independent exerciser by providing you with in-depth information on equipment usage, lifestyle management.
